Location. The Palace Resort is located at the south end of Myrtle Beach, S.C., overlooking the ocean. Broadway at the Beach offers 350 acres of shops, restaurants, nightlife, attractions less than three miles from the inn. The Myrtle Beach Convention Center is also less than three miles away. Ripley's Aquarium features sharks, creatures from the Amazon rain forest, sea dragons and thousands of colorful fish less than five miles away.
Features. This 23 story oceanfront resort features a tropical theme and white sand beaches. The Blue Wave Restaurant serves lunch and dinner in a tropically themed atmosphere. A putting green and exercise room with a sauna and steam room are on site. This resort features spa tubs and a seasonal indoor pool. Pets are not allowed at the property.
Guestrooms. The Palace Resort offers 212 guestrooms with furnished, private balconies featuring ocean or angle ocean views. All units include private bathrooms with complimentary toiletries and tub/shower combinations. Rooms feature living rooms with sofa beds. Cable television is offered in all rooms. Full kitchens are equipped with refrigerators, stoves, dishwashers, coffeemakers, microwave ovens and garbage disposals. All rooms feature air conditioning. Wake up calls are available.
Expert Tip. The Family Kingdom amusement park features over 30 rides, including what is said to be South Carolina's largest Ferris wheel, one mile away.
