The Carriage House B&B is located in Ocean Grove, N.J., and is less than one block from the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Originally founded in 1869 as a Methodist summer retreat, Ocean Grove is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is defined by a numerous 19th century Victorian houses. Less than one mile from the inn is The Great Auditorium, a hall built in 1894 that covers an area larger than a football field and houses on of the 25 largest pipe organs in the world. Main avenue features a selection of shopping and dining opportunities less than one mile from the property.
A hardwood front porch is furnished with deck chairs and offers a wide view of the Atlantic Ocean less than a block away. Full complimentary breakfasts are served each morning and may feature the inn's stuffed French toast signature dish. Complimentary wireless internet access is available on the property, and conference rooms are also provided. The residence features a fireplace, library and video library. Pets are not allowed at this property.
Guestrooms at The Carriage House B&B all feature private bathrooms and cable television. Select rooms offer a fireplace. A microwave and a refrigerator are provided in room upon request. The Carriage House enjoys eight newly renovated bedrooms, some with balcony and ocean views. Each room has a private bath, air conditioning, television and telephone, while the larger guest rooms have working fireplaces.
