Location. Sterling Resorts Sienna on the Coast is located in Gulfport, Miss., across the street from the Gulf of Mexico. The Lynn Meadows Discovery Center, a well regarded children's museum, is less than three miles away. The Island View Casino is less than five miles away, and the Beau Rivage Casino is less than nine miles from the resort.
Features. Overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the 12 story Sienna on the Coast evokes Mediterranean influences with its decorative cornices, tan stucco and red tile roof. The porte cochere shades the entrance to the lobby, which features gleaming marble floors and a fountain. Palm trees and tropical landscaping surround the outdoor, infinity edge pool with fountain. Guests also can also take a dip in the indoor pool. Spa tubs adjoin both pools. Those who prefer to swim in saltwater can cross the street to the beach, where the property provides complimentary beach service. The exercise room offers free weights and cardiovasular machines. The video library provides unlimited, complimentary DVD rentals. Novice and experienced golfers can perfect their form on the putting green near the lobby. Complimentary parking is in a secure, gated garage. Pets are not allowed.
Guestrooms. All guest condos offer balconies with ocean views. Fully equipped kitchens feature furniture grade cabinets and granite countertops. The suite of stainless steel appliances includes side by side refrigerators, glass cooktop stoves and ovens, and microwave ovens. Crown molding accents the foyer, dining and sitting areas. Main bathrooms offer separate jetted tubs and walk in showers.
Expert Tip. To take advantage of its seaside setting, architects designed all units to face the ocean. As a result, sheets of impact resistant glass line the building's south side. This pragmatic touch affords fantastic views and blocks outdoor noise.
